Two weeks ago my 4 way flashers started coming on when I activated my left turn signal, so I took it to the dealership and they said it was the multifunction switch but naturally they didn't have one in stock so they had to order one and I had to go back the next day to get it replaced. Yesterday it happened again so I go back to the dealer this morning and now they say it's the flasher unit, but of course they don't have one in stock and have to order one. So now I have to waste more time tomorrow. Used to be they'd just go in the back room and grab a part and you were out in a few minutes. Seems to me the more sophisticated cars become the more difficult it is to get anything done anymore.

They probably don't keep to many parts in stock. That way they can keep their overhead down and their numbers look better. A part sitting on the shelf is "dead money".
