Message: Two weeks ago my 4 way flashers started coming on when I activated my left turn signal, so I took it to the dealership and they said it was the multifunction switch but naturally they didn't have one in stock so they had to order one and I had to go back the next day to get it replaced. Yesterday it happened again so I go back to the dealer this morning and now they say it's the flasher unit, but of course they don't have one in stock and have to order one. So now I have to waste more time tomorrow. Used to be they'd just go in the back room and grab a part and you were out in a few minutes. Seems to me the more sophisticated cars become the more difficult it is to get anything done anymore.

Message: They probably don't keep to many parts in stock. That way they can keep their overhead down and their numbers look better. A part sitting on the shelf is "dead money".
