Subject: Changing Spark Plugs IP: Logged
Message: I'm going to attempt to change my spark plugs in my 1999 3.9 V6 in a couple days. I read some other posts and I think I'm going to go with the standard copper Autolite ones. Are they fairly easy to change out? Is anything else required besides taking the old ones out and putting the new ones in?

Message: Be very careful not to cross thread the new plugs when installing.
Use a short (3" long) piece of 1/4" fuel line, force it over the small end of the plug and use it to hand tighten the spark plug into the head.
