Not so fast! I ordered mine around Feb. 22nd, and am looking on arrival in the teens of April, more like an 8-week lead time. Count on nothing. A girl who ordered in January who has reported on this list got hers in about 10 weeks...

My 2001 Dak QC order was placed with Warren,MI on 3/9/01. According to the tracking number I have, Southern Pacific Railroad has mine passing through Nebraska into Colorado tonight. The ETA to SLC,Utah is 3/30/01 at 10:30 a.m.. Hopefully picking it up later that day or Saturday.
My suggestion is, if you are not happy with the delivery date, hammer the salesman at your dealer or call Dodge's customer service. Dodge's customer service will be able to tell you when it is scheduled to be made as well as give you the tracking info to be able to "watch" it come to your location.
The first time I called customer service, 3/13, I was told my Dak was scheduled the 2nd week of April. A week later I wanted to add limited slip to my order and was told it was too late because it was on the production line.
HondaVFR - Try calling Dodge's customer service if you haven't already. Ask them wass up. They should be able to give you details. The following link will tell you how to follow up on your order

Roger, I tried that link, yet came up with zero ("no matches found"). Any other clues? Beleive it or not, the dealership I'm going though has been less than concerned, and I haven't even PAID for it yet.

Well bite my lip!! I had been on the road M & T, and when I checked voice mail at work, lo and behold the saleslady had called and said my truck was in! I hadn't called customer service since the first of the month, just letting in to the routine. I was happily surprised, though I no longer care what changed mid-stream since my last call. The truck was in Tuesday I believe, so that makes it damn near 4 weeks also! What sucks is that I was trying to sell my Subaru outright, and now I have no time. I was really counting on the next 3 weeks for calls and viewings. Now I have to suck up the $1500 loss that trade-ins afford you...

That's okay, HondaVFR. Now you can be a little more firm on your selling price. I held out on selling my "trade-in" that they were going to give me $6k for. Sold it outright over the internet for $10k! If I do my math right that's $4k that I can spend on "goodies"...hehehe.

Ordered my Black Quad Cab 5.9L on 3-7. Dealer told me today that it will be shipped from factory on 4-14. I guess with all you guys ordering black that they might have had to order in some more paint. Well, I'll just have to suffer till the later part of April.
Until then, it's gonna have to be the 2001 Black RagTop Z28 back and forth to work.

yeah guys this is the girl that ordered hers jan 2 and got it march 16. dont let them pull your around like they did me. keep calling the dealership and asking. although i got another 1000 off cause of the new incentive. i love my truck now. hope you enjoy yours when you get it
