Message: You can also find dealer invoices on line too at Edmund's. What is the original sticker on that truck? Is it $24,900 and they are offering the $2000 rebate to bring it down to $22,900? Did you negotiate the price down PRIOR to the rebate? Rebates don't cut into the dealer's profits so don't let them BS you that they can't negotiate off the sticker much because THEY are giving you $2000 off for the rebate. THEY aren't giving you sh!+. Chrysler is the one footing the bill for 2 grand, not the dealer.

Message: Better get on the net and bone up on what constitutes a fair price and the tactics the dealers uses to seperate you from your money.

Message: Ignore the sticker price, it's pure fiction. Find out what the invoice price is on the truck you want then offer the dealer $300 less than that. If they whine that they really have to pay that invoice price remind them about the monthly or quarterly kick back they get from the factory. Do this same routine at at least three dealerships.
Above all if you don't feel you are being treated fairly take your business some place else. I went to 4 dealers before I found one that treated me right. Remember also that you don't have to have your truck serviced where you bought it.

Message: Yeah, if the dealer doesn't want you to see the INVOICE price...
He's hiding something or he really thinks you're an idiot...
So you should see invoice - and THEN subtract $2000 for the rebate - or mosey on down the road
And don't expect the warranty offer to expire just because they say it "might"
A good salesman wants to treat you like he would want to be treated if he was the buyer
