Subject: any suggestions? IP: Logged
Message: I washed my truck for the first time today...The front wheels were a little bit tricky to get the brake dust out of the spokes...What do you guys use to clear this out? I have heard the Quicksilver stuff works real well, I use it on my car, but I have known people who had trouble with using it with aluminum wheels...Any suggestions? Thanks

Message: I use a window cleaner on them that comes in the spray cans and towles. I do it after I wash the wheels. It's pretty easy with that stuff. I'm scared to use anything else. I used a wheel cleaner that was "safe" to use on my wheels on my old truck and it pitted the wheels.

Message: I have always used Eagle One A-Z wheel cleaner. It is safe for clear coated rims and loosens the brake dust nicely. Even though it says "spray on - hose off", you still have to wash wheel with soapy water and a cloth.
