 Subject: Different Colored Dakota Decals/Badges

This may sound a little off the wall, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
My special-ordered 02 CC SLT+ should be in any day now, and I was wondering if different colored Dakota decals and badges are available from the aftermarket (or from DC for that matter).
I'm talking about the DAKOTA decal on the tailgate and the badges on the door... that type of thing. I'd like to find them in a different color... just to individualize the truck a bit.
Are there any sources for this type of thing?
Just wondering... thanks.

yep....the dealer can order you ones in any of the stock colors available. not too expensive. i swapped out my silver ones for black. if you've never done decals before, i'd suggest finding someone who has....i'd hate to see you put 'em on crooked.
INSTALL HINT: use the ones on the truck as a guide to line up the new ones...mask off under the decal corners, line 'em up and mark this spot with a SHARPIE in two opposite corners ie upper right and lower left. THEN remove the old ones. they'll line up perfectly.

I have seen Dakota in chrome letters like how the rams have Dodge written.

I don't know what the SLT has on the tailgate for 2002. They used to have large raised reflective letters that said "dodge" and "4X4". I didn't care for them. You may have decals now. The door letters you have should still be the same. Probably 1-1/2" chrome letters that say "DAKOTA" and an "SLT" badge. From the dealer, I ordered the "DODGE" and the "4X4" letters from the rear hatch of the Durango. I replace the factory lettering on my tailgate. They are the same size and style letters as the door and look much better. Just an idea.
