 Subject: All Ohio Dak owners(and anyone else)

I am going to call the River Vally Mall Monday ,in Lancaster Ohio, to see if we can use the parking lot for a small meet.I will try to get it for the first weekend in September. Nothing more than a bunch of us getting together and enjoying our trucks. There are lots of places to eat , Applebees for one! (Gotta love it!!) Howdy and I MAY make up cards to put on the windows of Daks we see , telling them about this site , and trying to get as many people to come to the meet as we can.
Please reply to this if you would like to come , and help spread the word!!!

Lancaster is about 35 miles S.E of Columbus. Find Columbus , look for 270 , then look for 33. Just follow that , and you will run right into Lancaster. The mall is on the Right. I'm gonna call now , and let you guys know whats up!

Ok . Just called. So far so good. I just have to clear it with the head of mall security. He is not in until tomarrow , so I'll call then. The only reason I have to let him know , according to the River Valley Mall Marketing Director , is so the other security people don't hassel us , and they know we have permission to be there. So looks like its going to be a go!!!!!
Tell as many people that you can!! and keep posting here so I have a rough number how many people will be there.

Dak 5 0 - Sept 7 (sat)not sure on the time thats kens dept. all day though. head to columbus take 270 south i believe its the wheeling exit. after a few miles you;ll come to the US33 exit head toward lancaster the mall will be on the right side of the road when you get into lancaster can't miss it. hope that helps? if you need any hotel or camping info let me know.

Its a go!!!!!! Just talked to the Mall Director,very cool guy,and its a go! We have to be out of the mall by 9:00 pm (mall closes) and i have to keep him informed as the months go on as to how many of you are comming. I gave him the info about this site , and he will check it out also. The only thing he may be concerned about is how big this will get. There is a vacent store that has a HUGE lot , and he said we could use that. This could be awsome!

Ken ,I'm a floor manager at the AUTOZONE store in Wooster and the Dak boys come in all the time.Will spread the word my friend and we'll see how many trucks we can come up with. E_MAIL me as much info as you can and if i can't get off , will try and send some trucks to your gig!

wow it's great to see so many dak owners interested in comming to Lancaster. We need a favor though! We need to know somewhat how many Daks are planning on comming? This is still going on. but I wanted to say something , I know it will be VERY tempting , even for me , but please no burnouts in the parking lot. I am talking about the kind you do in your truck.Hehe. I don't think they would let you stay , and may not let us do this again if too much rubber gets put on the lot!! Sorry , I don't like it either!!

Start around 8:00 a.m and go to 9:00 p.m thats when the mall closes. I was thinking around 8:oo pm , we all take a drive through Rising Park , and then all go aur own way. VERY nice park , has a mountin you can go up on and see almost the whole city. You can see it in my profile pic.
