Finally finished my new bumpers. The tubes are 2" x 1/8" wall welded to 1/4" mild steel. All bolted with grade 8 hardware. Tow hooks front and rear and on the rear bumper I included a 2" receiver for towing.

I don't like the way they look on your truck at all! I think you should go outside right now, unbolt them, box them up, and send them to ME!
Very cool, you did a great job! Do you do steel fabrication for a living or as a hobby?

Thanks for the laugh. These were my first attempt at making anything in metal. I did it myself because the fab shop wanted $750.00 for the front and $400.00 for the rear. I made them both for less than $300.00. That includes the $50.00 worth of paint and primer.

Looks great, good idea and workmanship, they blend well with the Dakota's bodyline and look. How much for an unpainted set shipped to my house?:O)
