Subject: Trucks lookin' good!! IP: Logged
Message: Just did the Meguiar's 3 step on the truck. Only took 6 and 1/2 hours this time. Washed and rinsed twice , then cleaned , polished(3 coats) and then the Meguiar's Gold Class wax. I used a 7" Black and Decker random orbital to apply everything , and elbow power to remove. For the tires , I used the Endurance Gold Class Gel.
I am VERY happy to say that,so far , NO door dents , and only one VERY small chip in the paint. I'll have it 2 years in August , so thats not bad!!(I wanted to throw up when I found it though!)
So the truck looks GREAT , and my back and sholders are burnt , but you gotta love the Meguiar's!! I was watching a jet fly over in the reflection off the hood. Well , the contrail anyway.

Message: Ken,
I use the same thing on an 02 Patriot Blue. It works great and leaves a deep finish.
I think I may try the Zaino Brothers and see how it works.
But as it is now, because the truck is garage kept I can just use the car duster and the detail wax to keep it like new.

Message: The duster saves a lot of time. I use it if I know its going to rain. That way you get less water spots. And the water spots I do get are easly removed with the Quick Detailer, also from Meguiar's. Uh ho , I'm starting to sound like Harlow Wilcox for Meguiar's!!!
