Message: Millhouse, I live down south in Belton. I've only had my Dak for less than a month. I probably exceed the average age of most of the people who populate this board by a wide margin, but I used to be pretty heavy into small block Mustangs. I think it's still in my blood, so I've been trying to get smart about what works/what doesn't on these trucks before I try to do anything. Your blue truck looks really nice!

Message: If you're familiar with where the Grandview Triangle is...where 435 south, 435 east, and Hwy 71 come together...Belton is south on 71 Hwy, the next town south of Grandview, on the way to Harrisonville, just over the line in Cass county. It's about the last town on the southeast side considered to be in the greater KC metro area. Gladstone would be a pretty good ride from Belton, but I make the ride up to KCI now and then, and that only takes me about 45 minutes on 435. Gladstone would only be about 30 minutes away, I think. I used to live in Topeka and commute to KC every day.
My Dak is a brand new '02 4x2 RC Sport 3.9 automatic. Graphite, tire and handling group, power, cruise, tilt, rear slider, bedliner. I haven't done anything to it yet, as I've only had it for 2 weeks, but I'm getting lots of ideas from this site. I might start with headers and work my way up the engine with Crower rollers, TB, and intake before going towards the back end with new exhaust and maybe a shift kit. In my dreams, anyway...
