Well. I'm sorry to say but I don't think that the 2.5 has a rev limiter. I have taken mine past what the speedometer says and it was still trying to push. But that was downhill slightly. I have a homebrew cold air, Accel Spiral core wires, high flow cat, Flowmaster 40 series, 180 stat, A nice new BeCool Radiator, MSD 6AL, and soon to put a Nitrous kit of about 75 shot in. Only puttin' the NOS in because it's free though. I know I can get my truck up to 120-122mph before she cuts out though. I'll se what I can do and maybe post a picture, of the speedometer and the road it's on.

The 2.5 does have a rev limiter. Usually the only way to bypass it is while driving turn the key in the ignition forward at the cutt off point. It gets you pass the limiter but harms the ignition in the process. Good Luck!
