Subject: Front end LUBE JOB IP: Logged
Message: OK I need some openions here, I have this squeaking on the front of the truck, it is on the driver side and I lubed the sway bar,bushings, ball joints, and I still have squeaking, do you think the schocks can cause this or maybe the springs? Its driveing me crazy.

Message: could be a number of things jesse, have a friend jounce the front corner for you while you (carefully, dont put your head in there obviously) listen for the location of the squeak. good luck with itl

Message: We did that and all kinds of test and triel and error, but what It realy sounds like is the rack where the tie rod goes in and out, I lubed every thing lastnight and the squeaking goes away when Im turning but while im going stright it squeaks bad, then if I want it to stop squeaking, I stop the truck and turn the wheels all the way left and then all the way right a couple of times and the squeaking is gone for a little while. any clue any one.
