Two weeks ago on, Memorial Day, the Hot Rod Power Tour came through Louisville, Kentucky. Now, I've watched Hot Rod build the "Hot Rod Hemi Ram" on their web-site and I was hoping to see the finished product.
When my buddy and I got to the car show, the Ram wasn't on the grounds and I was a little bummed, but the rest of the show was great.
As the day wore on I was starting to loose hope that the Ram would show up. Then another friend of mine pointed out that the Ram was pulling in. I about fainted, but it abruptly stopped. My friends and I started walking towards the truck thinking that the guys driving it were just talking to some of the other people in the show, but it turns out the Ram was broke down...just my luck the only time I get to show my other friends the essence of Mopar and the damn thing breaks down. I got a lot of ribbing on that one!
So to help out another fellow Mopar...I coaxed my buddies to help push the truck out of the way.
Needless to say I thought it was pretty cool to help push the "Hot Rod Hemi Ram," but I'll never live that one down for sure.
Oh yeah we did get to hear it run for a few seconds, and let me tell you the earth shook beneath my feet...SO COOL!
