Subject: replacing fuel filter

Message:
i am replacing the fuel filter on my 93 v6, and in the repair manual, it says something about relieving the fuel system pressure. to do it, it says to use "the special fuel pressure gauge tool set" -- which i don't have. so, how do i do it?
any info is appreciated.

Use a small screwdriver and push (lightly) on the test port valve (located under the cap on the driver-side fuel rail). Have a couple of rags handy as well to clean up any fuel spill.
