Subject: need input re: abs problem IP: Logged
Message: i have 94 dakII and had my trk in dealer on 5/21/02 to have an abs part installed that they diagnosed as being bad. after putting part in they found that it was not the problem and put my old part bak in and ordered another part that they say is the problem. they did not charge me for the work. my problem is that because my abs/brake lights are still on i went to ck fuse etc to see if anything was blown. upon cking cab box i found abs light relay missing and abs brake system 5 amp fuse also missing.
i then cked power dist box and found 40amp abs and abs relay missing from there. i am trying to understand why all these things may have been removed cause my lights are still on. any ideas ?

Message: The relay and missing fuses are for the 4 wheel abs system, which I don't think you have. The system you have is probably only Rear Wheel Antilock.
