 Subject: TB Swap HELP!!

This may sound like a stupid question, but do manual transmission Daks have a throttle cable?
I have looked at the pics on speedtweaks in their tips and tricks section and the picture on their Throttle Valve Cable adjustment is differen't than what I have on my manual transmission 99 V6 Dak.
In that pic, where it says Throttle Valve Cable I do not have that on my Dak. All I have is a spring that goes from the window side of that bracket to the throttle body lever.
So do I need the V8 TB cable for my 5spd manual transmission Dak when I do the TB swap?
please help.

Yes you need the V-8 cable, the Tb Cables are different on the v-6 and v-8 tb.
$25 part, no big deal

The TV Cable is on the Autos ONLY, it adjusts the downshift
