Subject: tire suggestions? IP: Logged
Message: ok I have a 200 dak quad cab 4x4 and right now I have 15 inch rims and the good year wrangler r/t tires ..I want the truck to look bigger but I dont want to lift it and put 33s on it for 2 reasons...........
1. I have kids and my wife doesnt want to have to lift them up into it ..
2. I am going to be driving it alot for business and I dont want the gas mileage to suffer and I have heard the lift plus the bigger tires will make the gas mileage suxzors.........
My real questions are ----------"Is there a tire on the market that will enhance the look of my ride without going up a tire size?" I currently have the 31 inch tires....
and
Is there a rim and tire combination i.e. "offset rims" that will enhance my ride....
and if so what is the answer to my dilemma ?
Please help dakota gods!!!!!
wanna see my new truck?

Message: Dude,
I just put Michelin LTX AT's (31X10.5 R15's ) on my '97 5.2,4X4 and it looks great. The ride/traction/handling has improved dramatically from those crappy wranglers that I had. No regrets at all. They'll run you $120/tire.

Message: I jsut installed 33s on my truck this weekend. its all stock 4x4 it came with 31s. all you need to do is trim the corners of the frotn plastic piece. they have a slight slight rub at full turn otherwise they fit fine a nd look great
