So I have bought two belts for my 97 Dakota to bypass the ac, and each is about three inches too small. Any solutions? All input would be dearly appreciated!

I have 2003 Dakota got a new belt but a
week later my sensor comes on my oil
hand is in the red(i just got an oil
change!) To add my steering wheel is
hard to turn and when i press the gas
to do 40+ my gas pedal is
grinding...I'm thinking my belt is on
too tight but i am not sure any
suggestions?
