Message: If you look down the post page there is a post named 88 4X4 Engine Swap, with about 18 posts. A lot of info in there that can help you. It applies to 88 and 89, but there are really no differences except cosmetic.
Everything will bolt right up. You may need to use a pusher fan in front of radiator as the stock fan may not clear. Tranny will bolt up, as will the motor mounts.
