I was wondering, I have a 2002 3.9L V6, I am either going to buy a KN Gen 2 or an intense performance Stage 3 the one with the canister.
1. Will the canister fit in my V6 ?
2. Which one is easier to install, I hear the KN GEN 2 needed modification to fit the V6 is this also true for the STAGE 3 Intense performance?
3. Lastly, which one is better, which one will perform better? and money is no object, thanks!

I dont want to spend that much on a supercharge, my question dealt with the two chocies of airintake, only those two choices, i wanna know which one is better?

I would get the Intense Performance Stage III Cold Air with canister. I was going to get one for our truck, but it has not been CARB approved and I am unsure what the smog center will do if they find it under the hood here in Calif.

the thing im worried about with the Intense canister intake is that it uses the factory airhat, which I heard, is very restrictive, does it make a difference?
