Message: 4 times:
1 warning for going just under twice the legal limit. (49 in a 25)
1 ticket paid and erased off my record. (78 in a 65)
1 he didn't like the way I accelerated, used some slick talk and got away.
Last one, coming from the bar, ran a road block on a closed road that wasn't even being worked on and there was not good reason for it to be closed. Got screwed with 3 months probation. Luck, he didn't notice the alcohol on my breath.

Message: OK, I've been pulled over 4 times no tickets. Twice speeding(once was actually harassment, long story)
Once running a red light
Once wrong way down one way street(another long story.)
As for the differing opinions between the generations on law enforcement. There are many more nice police officers than bad ones. But some officers are very guilty of targeting teens and performance vehicles. My GF went through a yellow light and while doing so was passed by a speeding Honda Civic. She got pulled over and chewed out in her 96 Talon. I've heard of people in Jags who never get pulled over and then buy a Firebird and get pulled over 3 times in a week driving the same as when they had their jag. If every cop pulled over the people who ARE breaking the law and not those who MIGHT break the law their reputation would be a lot better. But unfortunetly for the good officers. The actions of the few reflect on all.

Message: As a biker, several hundred times, I am sure. Once, some dickhead DOT pulled me over and said I did not have enough tread on my tire on my panhead...I asked him if he was a cop...he said well, NO, not really...I then asked him if he would like me to take his car and shove it where the sun does not shine...he said he preferred that I did not...I told him to never pull over a biker again unless he wanted his butt kicked.
Worst ticket...131 mph in a 75 mile zone..long ago in North Alabama..the fine was $50, (1968).
Oh well, my old man always said, "if you are gonna be stupid, you gotta be tough".

Message: Dude, you gotta dam uranium tiped foot. I thought I was unlucky with 2 pull overs. One was a 69 in a 55. Got outa it by some chance.
another was just a week or 2 ago. Going 71 in a 50. The dick head followed me for a few miles before actually pulling me over. I also had a radar detector. Had my windows down, my exhaust blasting, and my 2 12 in subs getten 1,000+ watts thumping. Did not even hear it. But he took it to a 69 in a 55mph so I would only have to pay 19 miles over the limit. Cost $189.00+ $30 for traffic school. Still gotta pay it though.
Then yesterday, I was riding with my cousin( and best buddy) in his Miata. We were going over 90 in a 50 zone and a Fla state trooper got us. He got the biggest ticket I have ever seen. Its like almost $300.00 plus mandiatory schooling. I feel bad for him.

Message: Bryan - You are what we in the PD call a HO...Habitual Offender. And how many suspensions go along with those tickets...or the result of those tickets I should say??...
I myself..three times.
1) 44 in a 35....pulled over in front of the 45 mph sign..DOH!!
2) "Too fast for conditions" no speed on ticket, but it was raining and i was fishtailing...on purpose however.
3) and the last was for imprudent speed. again no speed on the ticket, but the officer knew i was speeding and i admited to it. (I later found out that he clocked me at 98mph in a 35mph...he took it easy as he knew me...but couldn't let it go completely)
Every ticket while in my 1991 Dakota... None in my 1998. Pulled over numerous times...for tires...exhaust...excessive acceleration...lift. But NO tickets out of any of them.
And after all that..I know work for the Police. Wierd how life goes...as a kid you spend all your times running from the cops...now Im on the other side of the law...

Message: Out of all my speeding tickets, my licence has never been suspended. I got A letter from the state saying " if I get another speeding ticket, I would lose my licence " but that was in 1994.
I have learned that tickets stay on your record for one year and then are taken off, so now I only have two speeding tickets on my record right now.
