I was reading in Motor Trend that the 4.7 engine that is in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland puts out 270 horses. What did Chrysler do to these engines for the extra ponies? Didnt say anything about superchargers or anything like that

Those are all the HO parts that I have been trying on my truck. They upped the compresion, different heads, different intake manifold, different cams, and forged crank.

The cams were a nice inprovment mainly in the lower end. The intake was nothing special it helped mainly in the upper end. I have driven the new Jeep with the 4.7HO. It is pretty good but has nothing on a 4.7 5 speed dak.
