00 is Gen 3, my 01 QC has the tire and handling pack, comes with 16x8in wheels. Ought to work on your Gen 3 also.

16X8s dont even look as good as 15x8s you could get r/t rims for not much more(like 138 per wheel) and the would look twice as good. the 16s look wierd. i dont like them. although i could see them being a good upgrade from 15x7s, but not 15x8s.

I've got a set of 16x8's i'm gonna put on my 2000. Right now I have 15x7's with crappy traction. I like the way they look. Go for it Greeno!
