Message: I just bought a pre-owned 2000 Quad Cab SLT 4x2; and was interested in putting new tires on it. It came with the optional 255/65r15 tires on the 15x8 rims. I'm wondering if I can put 31x10.5's on the stock rims with no lifting or cutting. Has anyone done this on their truck? Will there be any rubbing? What effect will it have on mileage, performance, engine wear, etc?
