hey , i was wondering if one of you can help me, some times when i brake hard, or in reverse with the wheel turn and als braking, i have this awfel, load embarassing popping noise, it really sounds bad, i was wondering if someone can tell me what it could be so, i can fix it asap. cuz its really annoying. thanks

You don't say what year your Dak is but I would assume it would be the upper ball joints. If I were you I would have them inspected right away. They will pop and if you wait too long, they will break which means it will cost you MORE money than ball joints.

Check your upper control arms for being loose where they are bolted to the frame believe it or not it happend to me.

that could be, but why would it kick is so much if i bearly brake? it does it when i brake hard and easy braking?

go to speedtweaks.net and check out the section tips and tricks. look at the body mounts section. mine is doing the same popping noise but only when i'm backing off of an incline and i have my wheels turned. i know my ball joints are ok but haven't tried the body mounts trick yet to see if it helps.
