I've been told you can't lift a Dak that has air conditioning 3" without replacing all the lines. I've got a 2001 QC 4.7L auto with air. What can I expect to have to deal with when installing a 3" body lift, other than the lift itself?

Why would you need to change the AC line? Does the AC connect to the suspension in some new and unusual way I don't know about?

Maybe modifying the -brake- lines is needed... but I wouldn't think the AC should.

It shouldn't be a problem. The only small "issue" I see is the location of the accumulator on the 2000+ models (location only) as it's mounted slightly higher on the body than the '99 and older models.

My '97 had a 2" body lift and 3" suspension lift on it (now lowered) and there were no problems with the A/C system. Definitely check the brake lines and ground straps though.
