Subject: Powerslot + EBC = Squeeling IP: Logged
Message: Hello all,
I put some Powerslot rotors and EBC pads on my QC Dakota a few days ago and now they are squeeling like little pigs. Has this happened to anyone else? I have not done any really hard braking, although I did 'smell' the new brakes once.
Any help is appreciated.

Message: Sounds like you have either the rotors, the pads, or both, glazed. Check the thread/posts on bedding the pads properly. Makes a huge differece in starting a long, happy relationship with your new brakes.

Message: That one stop where I smelled the new brakes must have glazed them a little. I was trying to break them in properly, but it was on a big hill and old habits die hard I guess. :) Maybe I should tape a note on my steering wheel. lol
If it doesn't go away shortly, at least it's easy to get the calipers of again and clean things up.
Thanks.
