Hey Jorge D.,
I am not a member of the club, but I read the forum daily. I have a 2002 Quad Cab with the 4.7 and would like to get together with some other owners in Florida. I live near Lake Mary so I am 45 minutes from either Orlando or Daytona Beach. Hope we get some other people interested.

I am willing to meet people. I am in Bradenton, north of sarasota, but in the fall I am going to UF so I will be closer to daytona, although the sooner we get together the better.

I'm in Winter Park, which is basically Orlando. If we do it on a day I don't have classes, and it's within an hour to and hour and a half of me, I'll be there! You can all wash my truck! MWHAHA! :0)

Hey lets do it. Im in the south in LaBelle. By the Big Lake. I will also be going to UF in the fall. Orlando/Daytona works for me! We tried this a few months ago but nothing came of it. There was too much conflicting iintrests. Lets do it though.

I'm in Valdosta too! First I've seen another person from 'round here on the board! I can't make a FL meet right now, wife and two little kids seem to take up alot of time! Not complaining, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah, I've heard of it. I think it's open Wednesday and Friday. But from what I've heard, it's -packed-, and a lot of times people don't get a chance to run. If anyone knows of someplace else...? Is there anyplace over by Daytona Beach?

I don't know what you would think, but there's Desoto Speedway down in Bradenton/Sarasota area. They have a session on Saturday morning that I've "heard" is'nt too bad.

doug, where are you from dude? Yeah, little ole Labelle is represented here. Its a nice little place man. Lots of ducks, hogs, big mouth bass, Rolan Martin (rich jerk) and Lake O.
Urhistory, I am going to be a Junior at UF. Architecture is my game. Master of Architecture will be my degree. I want to open my own firm. Lets see, first I was majoring in criminal justice. Wanted to join the FBIs lab dept. Then it was Managment information systems. Some accounting, then now its Arch. But luckily, most of my classes have fit one slot or another in each major so I have not wasted loads of time.
Anyways, We should definitly get a meet going. In the center of the state too. I know of a motor park in Lakeland. It has a drag strip, a toug-0-war strip, a huge mud racing pit, and a light mudding hole. I have ben there numeras times for big shows of mudd and speed. Good place but kinda far from you north guys. Good evening...

I grew up duck hunting on Lake O like I said earlier...I am living in San Diego right now but I am moving to Florida in 30 days to work at Intuitive Design Group.....Check it out.....

oh yeah I have been fishing with roland along time ago my dad knows one of his friends we fished the rim canal and I caught a 6 pounder and a crapload of 2 and 3 pounders and he didnt catch crap ....except a hard time from me...he was laughing though ..and he really want fishing the whole time he was guiding and talking alot

Yeah, he tends to do that. I know his daughter who is about my age pretty well. I also knew one of his under water photographers for his show. Needless to say, I dont watch it...
I go to west palm alot. Got family there. Where is this city plaza located? Are you an architect or an engineer? Sounds like you guys are very busy so it must say something about your business. Good Luck.
Have a nice moving time. Thats about as far a move as can be made in the US. San D. to Fla. wow. Good Luck and keep a good eye on your daughter, they grow up quick! C-ya around hopefully.

KotaGirl and BW1199, you posted a response to a thread thats almost a year old, but looks like you've sparked an interest in south Florida.. with responses from Dan M, hardbody, and Jorge D...
I saw a post by Dakzilla on another board for this meet in Melborne, Dakzilla's Post: April 27th (Sunday) there is the 11th Annual Mopars On The Coast. I was planning on showing my truck. I hope to see some of you out there. It's $25 to enter and it's at the Wickham Park Pavilion.
I contacted Space Coast Mopars they sent a flyer with additional information and welcome new participants, members, and visitors. I'll email it to you's.. Its MOPARS ON THE COAST CAR SHOW, Sunday April 27th, BCC Wickham Park Pavillion, Melborne Fla.,
One of ya should pick up the ball on this, post it as a new thread on this board and the other Dak boards, and get something going.. may a crowd of Daks would show up and start somt'n new..
