Hello, I have tried to find out through searches what is the biggest size tire I can put on these rims without rubbing on my 2wd 99 Dakota, but have not been able to find any info.
Does anybody know what is the biggest sized tire I can put on a 15 x 8 rim?
As well, I know this will affect my spedometer if I change tire sizes, but what about the ABS system? Will it affect this? If so, how will it affect this.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

just get some 275/60-15's from BFG. It's an S rated tire but has plenty of traction. Firestone makes one to of the same size. I've seen 295/50-16's but i'm not sure if they were offset

Does anybody know about the ABS systems when changing tire sizes? I know it will affect the spedometer, but am wondering about the ABS.
If it does affect the BAS, how so?.

Bleagues, If your truck came with 15x8's originally then the 275/60's will be the same height as your original tires (28") and your ABS will be ok. I have a set of (4) 15x8's with almost new 275/60/15's Firehawk SS20's that I'm trying to sell. I recently switched over to RT rims.
The tires have about 4K miles on them and the rims are in great shape. Will sell the set for $400.

Matt, do you have a picture of them...or know where I can see a pic of the rims?
My 99 Dak came with 15 x 6 rims, or that is what the sticker on the door says. I have heard that these are actually 15 x 7's.
What part of the world do you live in by the way?
