I handle the tech service bulletins that DC sends us, and since my Dakota purchase I always check them out. Anyways have you ever noticed, some times at the pump, it's a real b!tch to remove the cap, well mine is.
It seems all they have to do is replace the seal on the fuel cap part number (05086655AA)
so I'm sure if you make arrangements with your dealer they can do it while you wait, shouldn't take more than 2 minutes.
The bulletin number is 14-001-02
In fact it looks like it's for all 2002 Chrysler vehicles.
