Check this page out. Someone did a windtunnel test on the dak's big brother the Ram. I have seen some posts where people want to increase the mpg and get advice back to put on a truck cap. I agreed with that advice untill I looked at this page. A cap acutally HURTS your mpg. Whooda thunk it.

Wow, that is very interesting. It doesn't surprise me that the tonneau is the best (other than the wedge cap). Tailgate lowered is better than no tailgate...that makes sense.

Quite intresting ::Runs out side and lowers his tailgate:: WHOO HOO! better gas milage. I thought it was odd when I drove around for a week with out my tailgate that my gas milage decreased.
