i have the sport trim on my 01 cc and i have a very ugly black bumper and i want to get it painted, so the last couple of days i went to 3 different auto body shops and tried to get them to paint it, all 3 said that they wouldnt paint it because the paint would have a different tint to it because of the surface its being applied to, and they wouldnt paint it because even if they sand and prime it the paint will rapidly chip off and the original bumper would be exposed very quickly, ive seen alot of people paint their dakota bumpers, door hanldes, mirrors without a problem, so why wont these guys paint mine??? what can i do???
