 Subject: Security Wiring Question/Information

Anybody have experience/information/wiring colors on installing an alarm on a power lock equipped 02 Dakota?
I want to know if I can use the Keyfob that comes with the truck and insert an alarm system that will interface with it. I already have an alarm to install but it has it's own keyfobs and they are really clunky looking.
I don't want to use a local shop because if they install it - they also know how to defeat it.

This site has some general info for you. The door locks on my 2001 dakota are resistor type door locks so that was a hassal and took me ages to try and figure out. I used a 330ohm resistor and a 660 ohm resistor to lock and unlock. But once I found this site it helped me out bunches.

Bryan, thanks, exactly what I was looking for.
I also found info at http://www.the12volt.com/index.asp but they only had 1999 to 2000 specs. Lots of other great general info though.
