2nd time to ever drag race at a strip I beat a late model 90's cobra. Dunno what he was running under the hood or if it was just stock...he wouldn't stop to talk to me haha. Thats my fav kill story so far.

Dude I did almost the exact same thing racing someone...I floor it and my tranny stick in first till I ease up on the throttle but by the time I do that they're pullin away.

The other day i was i beat a contour svt.. the guy was all about racing so we went at it and right off the line. beat him. then he catches up and trys to pass so a quick touch of the gas and im gone again. it was quite fun.

I have only raced twice so since I have had the truck. Spankin's handed out:
-Riced out civic with a coffe can size fart tube muffler
-And same as MikeD the day before yesterday, It had ground effects and cobra logos on it. Don't know if it was real or not, it was teal with white stripes dont know that cobras came like that????

This guy w/ a 4cyl s-10 was just so sure he could beat me because he had a flowmaster and k&n ( I had the stage 2 and the K&N but he did not know that. Any way we pull up to the light and he is talking ish and then the light turns green and im not looking so he takes me off the line then I hit 2nd BYE BYE i-4. I cant remember what else ive raced but when I do I will put it down.

out of all the stuff i have raced the only ricers i have raced was two jettas (one strip/one street). At the strip i beat the jetta by 2.7 seconds in the 1/8th. One day on the road i had a couple of kids with a brand new 5 speed 4 banger S10 start revving at me... i just hit the purge button to watch a white cloud shoot 10 feed over the windshield of my truck... the morons had a look on their faces like "What the f*ck was that!"

Last weekend I was coming home from the compact show at carlisle(about a 3 hour drive) and this Grand Prix GT stayed with me for most of the way home. He had some big proformance stickers and what seamed to be a true dual exaust(I remember seeing what looked like 2 mufflers). At one point I passed him going up hill and that must have pissed him off. When we got to a dual lane road he went screaming by me so I caught him at the next light. He got there first and I could see him trying to figure out what I had. The V8 emblems are shaved (too bad he didn't notice the slide-a-links) so I gave him the benifit of the doubt and let him lay into it if he wanted. He took it, then I took him. When I got up to 60 I got out of it and he did the same. He never would pull up next too me again. That was my latest kill.

Most memorable "spanking"?
I was driving home a late day at the office one day. It was like 8 PM, so there was hardly any traffic.
Anyway, I stop at this light, and a late model Crown Vic pulls up next to me. The guy driving it looked like an office worker, with his tie loose, and his sleeves rolled up. He looks over at my truck, and drops it into nuetral, and starts reving his engine, smiling and nodding his head.
I nod at him, he puts it into gear, and we took off on the green.
I had him by about four cars when we had to slow down for the next light (after a bit less then a quarter mile).
At that light, he makes the "shame on you" sign with his fingers. I just shook my head, not getting the message, when he decides to show me his badge.
I had been racing a county detective!

R/Truck...I asked Marty at KRC about a new valve body to fix my problem and he said they didn't think they made any to fit our models...if you found one what brand, how much, and where can I get it? The reason why I wanted one is cuz my buddy has a LIghtning, he but a new valve body on it and it shifts as crisp & clean. Let me know.

the other night i was just out cruising around with nothing to do. i'm on a winding backroad just getting on it having fun in the curves. when i get to a straight stretch i can see what looks like a porsche. i floor it like a mad man on a mission. when i finally catch up to him i notice it is a 911. i figured what the heck might as well try. i floor it and get beside and him and play that little game of staying beside him and keep getting on it. after about the 3 time of mashing it beside him he finally decides to floor it. i keep mine floored and i am actually pulling ahead of him. as i'm going by him you can see the disappointment and disbelief on his face. after i get about 3 cars ahead of him i slow down, at this time i hear an alarm cock ringing and realize i was dreaming.

My latest kill was one of my friends in a Jeep Camanche, he came up beside me at a light and start revving his little 4 banger at me. When the light hit green he peeled out and took off, I let him get ahead of me by about 100 feet before I hit the gas and flew by him, he was scared to death after that. I never told him that my truck had a V8, he just figured it out.

Military Diesel Hum-Vee, not sh!tin' you, military guy an' all. I took off kinda fast at a light and when he was next to me, I was busy counting the lug nuts on the beast -- there were a bunch, lol! Next light he was revving at me and stuff. I kinda though, WTF, that's kinda weird. Ok..why not.
It isn't as slow as I would have expected. You know he's racing when he's going 50 (he got there eventually) in a 25..haha.
It was cool, but mostly awkward.

Last night on the way to the moveis , this kid pulls up next to me in a Masda 626. He and his friend were lookin' at my badges. Well , light turns green , he nailes it. My son in the back says "Take 'em dad"!!" so I did. As I slow down they are both laughfing , and the kid in the passenger side tells the driver "Man , he smoked you!" At leat they were not sore losers. They both looked over and gave me a thumbs up. Those are the kinde of people I like to race.

ok my turn, friday night i was coming home after shooting some pool i was kinda tired and not in a good mood i lost 3 games due to scratching on the 8 ball wtf lol. anyways i come up on this long section of road that has about 5 lights on it. well first light i get there and its a ford ranger of all things, well we go at it i spin off the line and when i hook up i kill his ass by about 9 truck lanks. second light, an iroc. i was a little worried about this one, we both come out a little slow SHE gives a little gas and goes ahead i smash it fly ahead she never caught so now finally i get the fifth light. its this kid i know with a 99 cc 5.2 auto, well i figured what the hell might as well, we both pull out spinning but i gripped first and pulled ahead and stayed ahead until i got to my turn. all in all a good night i should lose at pool more often lol.

I had my first trip to the track on Saturday, and being the only V6 truck there, I got beat by everybody except for an orange Civic. On the way home a silver Audi was in the next lane to me and I just let it rip. The highway wasn't too busy. It was the fastest I've gotten my dak up to yet, 185 kms. After a couple of miles of this, he finally sails by me, but gives me the thumbs up sign. Fun!
