Well I hit 10,000 miles on the way home from work yesterday, man it really sucks watching the miles climb like this on a new truck, it's a few days shy of 5 months old and already I have put that many miles on it.
One posite thing I can say is that I have had no problems yet, and I'm still happy as hell with my purchase. I couldn't say tha about the 99 extreme I turned in 5 months ago, I had it to the dealer 3 times within 6,000 miles.

2001 QuadCab w/ 4.7...
just broke 36,000 miles today. Sucks to be past the Warranty...
I have a Warranty Gold aftermarket coverage on my Jeep GC ('98, 5.9) and have had a few things covered... I was very pleased with their service if any one was considering it.
I did price it out for the DAK, but at 36K a year, it doesn’t seem worth it...

I put 30,000 kilometres on my truck the first year that I had it. Guess I just liked driving it :)

I did the math and it looks like I drive about 39,500 kilometers a year man I need to buy a beater before I drive this thing through the ground.

If youre truck cant handle high miles then you need to sell the thing and get something that can handle high miles.
After 7 years and 124,000 miles trust me when i say if you want to get high miles out of youre Dak, be prepared to spend a crapload of $
I expect a pickup to give at LEAST 150-175,000 miles while doing the things a pickup does, work,haul,play, ect.
I think my Dak might just barely make it.

Cecil, you have to post them somewhere on the web first then you can link them to this site. Some people use Yahoo, Geocities, etc. to set up an online album to link from.. You can't post pics directly off your 'puter.

i have a 94 dak v6 i bought new, its my baby and only has 14,500 mi on it, never goes in the winter and just towes my fishing boat in the summer, but i gonna do more trucking with it now since i got on this web site. my 94 pontiac grand am has 112,000 mi on it so u know what veh i use the most lol. i love my dak.

I bought my 92 Dak V6 2.5 years ago with 77K on it and it now has 125K. Did the math and that averages out to 52 miles a day and I just got done with my first year of college so from late August to May 1. I only drove it on weekends and breaks. I love my truck.

16,000 16 months Thanks to a company vehicle 3 months after I got it, it mainly only gets driven on the weekends.
