Just a suggstion but i think it would be pretty wicked if we had an area where we could just post about what we raced and when and how it went. i know i got some good stories as probally everyone out there does. let me know what ya think and if its possible.

Well, from what I've seen, every time someone posts a kill, they get beat down and trashed about how "there's no way they beat that kind of car." And the next thing that happens is that everybody gets in an arguement over that kind of car and how fast it really was and then there's another argument over what options were available on that car.

ANd the next thing that happens is that all of a sudden, all these dorks start posting questions like "I have a 4x4 V-6 with 3.21 gears and a Flowmaster. Can I beat a 1915 John Deere Farm Tractor?? I really need to know before this guy races me on Friday nite!!!"

And then Ll Blackdak will chime in with some useless crap and the "Post Your Kills Forum" will instantly be ruined.

But if we were able to post a kill and have everybody congratulate us instead of arguing, I'd be in favor of it.

I think that's because the V6 guys are always trying to see if their truck is as fast as the V8 they should have gotten in the first place. =)

because the s10's and rangers know better then to screw around with our V8's. And we know better than to screw around with Z28's cobra's vettes etc.. (well with the exception of Dunner hehe)

Hey, I toasted some sort of white thing with a huge teletubby wing on the back of it yesterday. Another block or so though and I think they would have had me.

Leslie there's no way you beat a white thing. The White Thing wasnt available from the factory with a teletubby wing so it had obviously modified. And no V-6 Dakota wouldever beat a modd'd White Thing. ever.

Liar.

;)~

See what I mean? Just beat down and smacked around.

Oh my god!! This thread is getting tooooo damned funny!!

Alex, that is soooo typical of what I see on some of these threads!! I do have one question though....is that a stock 1915 John Deere or has it been rebuilt for the tractor pulls?!? Because that would kinda change the dynamics of the whole thing, you know?!?

Mork, the space shuttle....bwahhahahahaa

Even if it has twin 1000 hp diesels, the only way you'll ever find out who wins is if you race him. Whoever crosses the line first wins. It's that easy. If he spins them big-a$$ tractor tires for the whole 1/4 mile and you hook and go in your little 4-banger Dakota and you cross the line first, then you have beaten a 2000 hp 1915 Deere in your Gen III 4-cyl Dakota. The end. But there was no way to find out unless you had raced him........

See my point? Of course you do. ;)
