I was thinking of a mobile theater with monitors in the headrests, PS2, DVDs, etc. Buckets would give it more of a theater feel and also free up some room for componetry. I wonder about the safety aspect though.

Are you thinking of facing them forward or backward? Would they be functional, e.g., reclining? I don't know if there is enough room in back for fully-functional bucket seats. I like your mobile home entertainment idea though.

I guess I shoulda been more clear. 2 bucket seats in place of the bench in a quad cab. This is in the cab, forward facing. Monitors in the back of the headrests of the driver's and (front) passenger's seats, for the rear passengers to view. They could watch movies, play playstation, etc. No, I don't think they would recline. In fact that is one of my bigger concerns: with the buckets being thicker than the original bench back seats, would there be enough legroom and still have a good angle on the seat backs? I dunno.
This is mostly daydreaming, btw, because my new Dak isn't even here yet (next week!). But I would like to look into this and was wondering if anyone tried it or has seen it. There is not too much that you can do with a Dak that some one here can't help you with....thought I'd ask!

I was crackin' wise earlier about dropping them in the bed. No, in my second post I'm saying that I don't think you'll have enough room to have functional (reclining) buckets in the rear of the Quad Cab. I gotta' tell ya', the 60/40 bench is plenty comfortable. IMHO, keep the rear bench and install the mobile theater.

12GA, I know you were just foolin'. I see what you are saying about the reclining seats. To me that doesn't seem like a big deal, the 60/40s don't recline either right? Anyway, I think I will keep an eye open at the local yard.
