I have a V6, if I go with a 50mm TB, will it increase or decrease my MPG?

Unless you're planning on a lot of internal modifications...or a supercharger, the 50mm is too big for the V6. Any of the following are excellent choices (budget depending):

(1) Factory V8 Throttle Body Conversion
(2) Fastman modified V8 Throttle Body
(3) Flometrics 48mm Throttle Body

Mileage is dependent on your foot with those three.

So changing the TB to a bigger one, keeping my driving habits the same, will it give me more MPGS?

No...if a little is good, a lot isn't always better. CFM wise, the V6 doesn't need a 50mm unless you're shoving air down its throat (Super/Turbocharger). A 48mm TB is more than plenty for a V6 with decent (or even mild) modifications.

A 50mm may reduce mileage as there's too much air coming down its throat and more fuel is needed to compensate.

What about for a Dak like mine:
1990 V6, with K&N intake, headers, No cat, flowmaster duals, Jacobs Ing system. 8.5mm wires. I have wanted to get a high flow TB but really have no idea as what to do. What type of HP is this gaining. Thanks alot.

The MPG is mainly dependent on driving style...not bolt-on parts. While headers, TB, intake, and exhaust can help increase fuel economy...it sometimes also hurts due to the "fun factor" (how heavy your foot is with new-found power). Some engines are also in a near perfect tune from the factory and some bolt-ons will hurt fuel economy (but still will help in performance).

In the end result, the 48mm by itself will not decrease fuel economy as you don't have to push the pedel down as far to get moving (therefore saving a little bit of fuel). How much is dependent on your engines state of tune and driving style.
