Message: From Allpar today.......GM has officially announced that its new mid-size pickup, presumably sharing the TrailBlazer platform and drivetrain, will be called Colorado. This truck is similar in size and capacity to the Dakota, but has a more modern, efficient powertrain than the current-generation Dodge truck. I consider this good news. Either there will be an alternative to the S10/Ranger clones if the Dak goes OR this will stimulate the market segment and DC will stay in the fight.
Message: I spoke with the dealer today and he said the Dak was their number one selling truck and that it's not going anywhere. Dodge isn't getting rid of it.
