Subject: How possible would this be?
IP: Logged

Message:
I got into a discussion with a buddy of mine who owns an 89 Ranger. The discussion mostly consisted of how he was going to drop a 5.0 V8 into his truck that came with a I4, and then turn it into a quad cab. Well I laughed at him for a while wanting a QC Ranger, then I proceeded to mock him by saying I was going to drop a Viper 8.3L V10 into a Dakota body when I got some cash. I just pushed the thought aside until one day thinking really hard about it I couldnt help but seriously wonder if it was possible.

Any Thoughts?

i has already been done... well with the 8.0L V10, but the 8.3L is the same size, so it can be done.

do a search for viper dakota, or something like that and you can see the pics

Company in the states did it.... Seen pics in truckin magazine... the thing looked cool=] they said they didnt actually have to modify the engine bay that much to make it fit. so the viper engine shoudl fit in a dak if it will fit in a cruiser =]

I haven't heard or seen any info on the PT being fitted with a V10, but there is a company in the U.S. that specializes in dropping 426 HEMI's into them.

LOL! What a fun ride THAT would be.
