Subject: Window Lock and Power Windows IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1990 Dakota, the passenger side power window and door lock does not work from the passenger side. They work fine from the Driver side. Any Ideas?
Thanks Sid

Message: Sounds like a broken connection. Sometime when you have a lot of patience, trace the wires from the switch to the relay. More than likely the wire is broken by the door where it gets a lot of "abuse".

Message: Ive experianced that particular problem with my chrysler product......I found the harness was broken where it goes through the door from opening and closing the door......look under the rubber boot where the harness enters the door. Thats where mine was broken. Be careful if you buy this harness at the dealer, when I got mine the passenger side worked but the rear windows wouldnt work anymore.....

Message: i dont know if the passanger side and drivers side are connected to two different fuses. If they are, then that could be your problem.
