Message: I just bought a 97 Dakota ( 96k miles) . No problems so far, but the automatic shift lever is making an annoying sqeaking noise when I shift gears.
I put grease in the shifting mechanism, but it still makes the noise. Has anyone had similar problem? How can I fix it?
