Message: Well for anyone that has been following, I'm still without rims, or even the right one's on order. I have tried going through the the company I ordered the rims from, AND Boyd Coddington. Both SUCK as far as customer servive. I called Boyd's on three seperate occasions, calling "the contact" which was given to me by the company that I ordered my rims from. Of course all three times, contact away from phone or on other line so I left a message. Guess what, NO RESPONSE.
In the meantime I am trying to resolve this issue through the company I ordered from. NOTHING. I have asked on numerous occasions for his phone number so I could speak to him, won't give it, although I just found it doing a search. I have left him my work number, home number, cell number, no contact. Just wants to communicate through email.
It looks as though I have no choice but to file a claim with the BBB. This could take a MINIMUM of 6 weeks. It looks like I will not have my rims until next year (season) because of lack of cooperation. I emailed him and told him I need an answer of how this problem will be resolved, this was the response, and I quote:
"Justin,
What would you like me to do about your wheels? No matter which way you would like to go you will have to pay the shipping to get the wheels to Boyds. "
That's it. So much for customer servive. These wheels were ordered correct, they sent me rims with the wrong backspacing and now want me to pay the shipping back, before a refund or new wheels being made. As far as I am concerned I am FINISHED with both Boyd Coddington and hpperformance.com
I apologize for the novel everybody, but I needed to vent, and I am sure my wife is sick of hearing me rant and rave, besides the fact that she is none to happy with being $1400 out of pocket with nothing to show. :-(
