Subject: dealer wont fix problem IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 R/T with 11,200mi. Have only had it about three months or so but do drive it quote a bit.The problem is while going a consistent speed the RPMs will suddenly jump and and down for no apparent reason, with the cruise control on it does it even more often. Doesnt matter what speed and does not happen all the time. Have taken it to the dealer 3 times and they say there is nothing wrong with it,I even took them a print out of a pst I found on here with the same problem but they still did nothing. Is there anything I can do to get the problem fixed? It is a rather annoying problem and judging by the post I found it is easy to fix by replacing the TPS, but the dealer said they cant fix it, because the TPS checks out fine, it is driving me insane. I have even taken it to both dealers here in town and neither want to fix it. Is there anything I can do?

Message: Do you ever hit the rev limiter when shifting from 1st to 2nd, ever notice that it skips first gear? You may have a bad valve body in your tranny, mine acted real erratic before they replaced it.
