I think he said something a while back about having some parts end up backordered...
Hey, designing a TT for a vehical that is solid and works good isn't easy! You have to remember, this is just two guys with families and a business to run doing this, not a company with a dedicated design team of engineers. Tom and Bernd have given us some good stuff (IAT adjuster, CAT Box, O2 SIMM, ect), as well as a place to purchase quality parts and get good customer support and service.
It'll be done when it's done. :0)
Besides, do you have the $3500 to buy one? When you have the money to purchase, you can whine about it not being done.
Of course, we're all waiting with baited breath to see the dyno results on both the R/T TT and Bernd's new V6.

Why did you buy a used Powerdyne? Why not get something new and better? Let me guess you already knew about Bernd gettting the twin turbo set-up? lol

I got the powerdyne because I got it cheap!! hehe
I got it on ebay for a steal. Just cause I got alotta cash, it doesn't mean that I will pass up a good deal. I know that Powerdyne isn't the best blower to buy, but it also is not the worst. I prolly won't run it too long though, maybe 6 months or so, then I am curious about the TT setup because if they are wanting 450hp from a basically stock engine, then I am curious as to how many ponies I can push with the mods I am about to put on....hehe. Then when I get another itch, I am thinking of stroking the engine in a year or so....then comes the new rearend and transmission!! hehe

LiBlackDak: Simple reason...you can't finish a project unless the manufacturer of the parts your using sends you the all the parts. (Wastegates were still on back order with delivery scheduled this week.) While we can rush the project, Tom and I wouldn't be comfortable with it. This isn't a "one-off" installation...the parts need to be duplicated for production kits (end-user installation).

I'm just trying to justify that there are plenty of people that have the money for a dependable Turbo system.
Hell, I have the money to buy anything I want but that's not the issue and I definately am not trying to be a smart ass.
I have had turbo powered cars before and I will buy one for the Dakota when available.

$3500?? I talked to Tom at Ennis and he was quoting me more like $4500. Of course I always get the short end of the stick...no deals ever come along for me haha.

MikeD - $3500 was the preliminary estimate for the single turbo kits (3.9L/4.7L)
The 5.2/5.9L twin turbo kits are looking to be around the $5000 range at this time...

You can get the 5.9 with a 5-spd. (or auto.) in a AWD (4x4) and make your own R/T . Then add all the power the transfer case will hold!
I`ve got an AWD SLT QC with the 4.7 auto. and love it. I`ve been playing around with the idea of making it into a Cyclone/Typhoon clone , only better! I always wanted one of those , but never had the $. Now they don`t have enough room for me and the family + they`re 10 yrs. old.
But I could make mine just as fast with the right amt. of money (if I can save it for that long).
