Well the dealership called Mopar performance and they said that the 5.9 Mopar cat-back won't fit the 4.7. They also said the piping is not the same. The dealership didn't want to sell me the kit just in case it doesn't fit. Because they don't want to get stuck with it, bottom line I think it will fit. The cat-back for the 4.7 will be released in the end of 2001, forget that.

I scarped that idea and now I'm going your way, with the R/T cat-back system.
Just want to make sure if these are the right part numbers for the R/T cat-back.
Muffler #52103323
Tail Pipe #52103262
One Rear Hanger #52103064

Is the muffler a 3" pipe in/out or 2.5" pipe in/out? Was there a performance gain or MPG gain?

Thanks in advance,
You've been a great help with my decision.
Anthony

Hey Bob,

What is the length of the R/T muffler front to back? Without the inlet or outlet counted. Is it the same as the 4.7, 24" long.
Is there a hanger on the muffler, because the 4.7 muff has one.
I'm thinking of going with the R/T tail pipe and adding a universal Dynomax ultra-flo instead. It all depends on the length and the hanger if needed.
I've been reading that the R/T muffler has dual inlets, is that right?? I thought for sure it's a 1 in and 1 out.

I went to the dealership no R/T's on the lot to check out for myself.
Thanks again
Anthony
