 Subject: Any Canadians?

Any Canadians on these boards? I'm in Alberta and would like to know how much I will be paying for an R/T regular cab.
I'm out of school in about a year or so doing CNC Machining so I will have money pending I get a job. Vehicles are what I want to spend the majority of my money on so I should have enough for an R/T but if not: Is the 4.7 a fast engine with alittle tweaking?

I am pretty sure that is where my boss is from. What is the name of the dodge dealer there?
BTW my little 4.7 does 14.9s almost anytime and I have touched 14.7s. This is all at 3000 feet. You should be at about the same elevation. No idea what the R/Ts run at this elevation.

the dodge dealer here is called St.Albert Dodge lol. In Edmonton there are a couple I think. Derrick Dodge is the one we got our truck from.
I'm glad to see those nice times. Do you get alot of axle hop or anything when dragging? I know trucks tend to do this and it really sucks. I haven't really experienced it too much in my truck because I don't drag, and ive got the 3.9 :P
So I guess it doesn't matter if I go with 4.7 or 5.9 sept that the 4.7 might be better on gas, no?
One last thing... I read all your mods and was wondering which mod you liked the best or worst.

I was just curious. The guy that owns my dealer owns crystal chrysler as well but I can't for the life of me remember what town that is in.
Yeah axle hop is a real pain. Slightly smoother clutch engaugement helps. I will be trying some spring clamps when I get some built.
Ummm....which mod do I like the best? It has to be between the cams or the third cat removal. Both are good mods for high and low end when combined.

I did it but I am a mechanic. It isn't really very hard. You just need a chain wedge to hold the chain in place while you remove the cams.

nice blurb on the cams there... well that is something i will definetly have to get if i end up with a 4.7 litre... how much would it cost for a shop to put those in? im sure you know being a mechanic and all.

You'll already see me there in my done up Neon :) I park it in the Krickets parking lot though since its kinda outta place amongst the muscle cars and such.
I live in that community just behind the esso on top of the hill :) so Soda Jerks is real close.
I've done lots a business with St.Albert Dodge. However it was mostly ordering things from their Mopar Perf. desk. They also do our regular check ups, which are pretty hard to screw up so I have no personal bad experience with them. A guy there wants to put a 2.4 in our Neon though, which is pretty cool. So i'll stick kinda close too them until they do something odd.

Morinville, alberta. bout 15 min out of St. Albert =] heard bad things about St. Albert Dodge too. I got mine from Great West on Stony Plain RD. i woulda liked to get the rt but it wasnt a standard... actually thats why i didnt get the rt =] now if they put a standard in it......
