Subject: Eagle One Wet Wax IP: Logged
Message: I removed the decals & pin-stripes from the red Dodge this morning and figured I'd better get a wash & wax on it. I tried this Eagle One Wet Wax and I'm very impressed with the results. You spray it on while your truck is still wet then just dry it normally. It doesn't haze over or need buffed out & best of all it doesn't show on black trim! Big plus! Very quick & easy. Of course, now that I'm done, there are rain clouds looming on the horizon, so I'll get to see how it sheds water. :-(

Message: Try that crap on black paint, waste of time. Took it back to walmart before the haze dried. It left an oily film that you had to basically end up buffing twice to get off. Gonna give some Meguiars gold class a shot today. We'll see

Message: Any of you guys ever used tire tinting cleaner? I saw some in my local parts store. It is basically a tire shine that leaves a blue, red, green, etc.tint on the tire. Thought about it but wanted to know if any one else has.

Message: I'm not sure about anyone else on the tint stuff but it's kind of a waste of money. I have silver and purple(for the GFs Talon) and you have to be 2 feet or less from the tire to see it and it has to be in direct sunlight. Nothing like the box leads you to believe. I thought however that it was a very good overall tire wet product. Haven't found a product yet that doesn't look terrible after a few weeks. Nothing looks better than a freshly cleaned and undressed tire. Looks like it's brand new.

Message: Yeah, thats kinda what I figured. I also see that they have a regular black color too. Just wondering if it looked cool or not. Guess its not worth the effort. What other tire/rim cleaners can you recomend? I have the Eagle One aluminum wheel cleaner now. Seems to work well. I tried the Mothers wheel polish and it was terrible. Actually fogged up my rim, or the 2in square i used it on. Thanks for the help.

Message: "Bleche White" is great for white lettering and tires. May need to scrub a bit but it's well worth it. Makes any tire wet take extremely well. Also is VERY good on the browning of the rubber. I use Meguiars (sp?) Hot wheels cleaner and I like it a lot. Eagle one wadding polish (in a small brushed aluminum can) is great for rough chrome that's been neglected. My exhaust is behind my tires so I use it quite a bit. I also use Harley-Davidson Pro chrome polish and like it.

Message: That can your talking about; is it an all metal polish that comes in form of a "cotton like" substance that is saturated in the cleanser? You just pull a piece off and start buffen. Or is it a regular wax like substance? Thanks.
