Thank you for your email to DaimlerChrysler Motors regarding the Dodge
Dakota.
According to our information, the Dodge Dakota will be available as a
2005 model. However, production information (equipment and options) is
not available at this time.

released information.
... maybe this is to keep me interested but i dont think so being as it came straight from daimler chrysler.

It official. Dodge is dropping the Dakota and introducing the Ramette. It's going to be a smaller wersion of the Ram with equally feminine styling to appeal to women, just like the Dakota and new Durango, with the trademark Dodge "spread-open-labia" grill.

Ok LQ you stupit Canadian idiot. Get out of Tent and look for a job. You and your butt boy James Lease don't never even owned a Dakota. All you can do is look at them go by the small drive in the city park.
Truth is if you keep up with the Detroit news sources (Truck Trend on this issue) Dodge is already test the D-body dakota and it's larger and then the C (present one sold now).
Also, look for the Hemi to be optional along with a SRT series.

The Dakota is not going anywhere. The schedule has already been released. The GEN 4 Dakota will debute in September 2004 as a 2005 model.
