When you polished your altenator water pump etc.. did you have to remove them or did you just take off the pully & belts and polish them in place ????????

I removed them so I do a more complete job getting in the nooks and crannies. That and it was a lot more comfortable polishing while sitting down rather than leaning over the hood. Removing everything wasn't hard, but there are a lot of different length bolts that you need to keep track of.
